I've just watched one episode of Nobuta No Produce which I picked randomly from my Nobuta discs. The storyline is really nice. Its about how 2 boys tries to make an unpopular girl to become the most well-loved student in the whole school, and how their friendship started off from there.
After watching this particular episode I picked at random, it triggered some thoughts. Its kind of weird how people meet and get to know each other isnt it? It doesnt matter whether you belong to the same "world" or not. Just like in the show, the main actor aka Shuji, is the most popular guy in school, but yet, after various incidents, he, Akira(the other guy) and Kotani(the unpopular girl) became the best of friends.
Sometimes, one feels really melancholic when no one believes them. Everyone wants to be believed by others, and all of us fear solitude. But how many of the people out there really trust what we've have said? However, it is your best/close friends that you know will believe everything you've said, isnt it? It is because they know you'll never lie to them and that they have complete faith in you. Who cares if the rest of the world doesnt believe in you? As long as your loved ones does, its everything that matters.
I really do admire the friendship among the three characters in the show. I am touched by how they help and encourage each other to move on at every downfall, and the way they have complete trust in each other. Even if they are seperated and are living at two ends of the world, they can completely feel the presence of each other, and know that someone will be there for them regardless of what happens.
I guess that's what friendship is all about. Friends are not there for nothing, we share each other's joy and sorrow and we confide in each other. We need not fear having to show our real side to one another, and we love our friends for who they are, and accept their every flaws. Its really hard to find someone like this, and I think the paramount thing here is to treasure all that we have now before we lose it. It'll all be too late when we try to retrive something we've already lost our grapse on. Even if we manage to do so, nothing will be the same anymore.
I am not someone who will talk about friendship like this, but emotions is an inexplicable thing afterall. Oh well, an emo entry and so redundant, but I am just saying what I am feel. I need to spill my thoughts to something anyway. I strongly recommend this Jap drama. Yamashita looks so cute in the show, and Maki Horikita looks pretty. The most important thing however is how the story progresses and touch your heart at every episode.
